| What is Dragonflight? The Dragonflight event or raid is a large scale event in the Stronghold map in which a total of 40 members can attend. The goal is to slay Dragons within the time limit, the more you slay the more/better rewards you will receive.
When is Dragonflight? The Dragonflight raid can be activated in two ways; one is by speaking to the Traveling Wizard, every 2 hours he will make the event availeble for us; two is by using the [Golden Bell] bought from the Zenstore, with this item you can force the event to activate. Note that ONLY the raid leader should activate the event during our scheduled Dragonflight raid.
Because we need a large group of members to kill at least one ore more dragons, we arrange a Dragonflight raid every day at 19:30 UTC/Zulu or 21:30 UTC/Zulu. We alternate between these times every week.
Check out or Event Roster to see when Dragonflight and other events take place!
Who can join? Anyone level 60-70 can join but technically anyone from level 20 and up can join as well. However, we highly discourage anyone -60 to join, since it will be too hard for you to attend. Level 50-60 is possible, but it will be a struggle.
How does it work?
Setting up - Usually the raid will be lead by one of our officers or leaders, who will be responsible for activating the event, making parties and deciding which tactic we are going to use depending on the amount of members attending.
- Those who want to join need to show up highly preferably 30 to at least 15 minutes in advance and make this clear in the /TDBP channel. As long you are not in a party we can invite you and you can do dailies or something else until the event takes place. We will try to balance the teams as much as possible, usually leaving a active member with the leadership of that party for communication.
- The raid leader will then announce the tactic after which everyone has to take place in their right position, depending on that tactic. We will ask the active members in charge of their parties to tell us if the team is ready.
- The raid leader or a assigned helper will then start the event at the Traveling Wizard, after which the fight will then start within one minute. Note that ONLY the raid leader or helper should start the event, because we need confirmation of all teams and members being in place.
The fight - Time is ticking - When the event is activated we have 1 minute before all dragons land, from there on we will have 10 minutes to kill them.
- Depending on the tactic we could be killing a single dragon, be zerging, splitting or split/zerging, these tactics will be explained below. No matter the tactic, our goal is to take down the dragons as fast as possible and as simultaneously as possible if we are trying to kill more than one.
- During the fight it is very important everyone keeps their eyes on the guild chat, instructions will be mentioned often to either slow down, speed up or completely stop fighting a certain dragon.
- While fighting, each dragon will randomly spawn a set of Empowers that will increase it's damage. If there are more than 1 or 2 Empowers it is often wise to send a few people to get rid of them, with exception of when we are near to killing the dragon or strong enough to burn through it.
- When one of the dragons gets killed all dragons will flee in one minute. For this reason, if we are killing more than one dragon we must try to kill them simultaneously as much as possible. If one team is slower than the other, the faster team should wait or slow down and try to kill their dragon in the last minute. This way the other team can use the additional minute to attempt to kill theirs as well.

| Tactics
Single dragon We use the single dragon tactic when there are not enough (strong) players online to kill more than one. Everyone will gather at the red dragon's landing spot and kill it as fast as possible.
2 way Zerg We use the 2 way zerg tactic when there are enough (strong) people online to kill more than two dragon and are not over budget. Everyone will begin at the red dragon's landing spot, draining the red dragon till 10-15% HP left if slow 20-25% if faster. From there on everyone will run towards the green dragon or blue dragon (blue dragon depends on the amount of tanks and healers) to start killing it as well. One to two people (per dragon) will be assigned to stay behind on red to execute the kill.
3 way Zerg We use the 3 way zerg tactic when there are enough (strong) people online to kill three dragons and are not over budget. Everyone will begin at the red dragon's landing spot, draining the red dragon till 10-15% HP left if slow 20-30% if fast. From there on everyone will run towards the green dragon and drain it till 10-15% HP or 20-30% as well depending on the speed. Then we will run even further from green to the black Dragon and drain it till all dragons are ready to kill. One to two people (per dragon) will be assigned to stay behind on red and green to execute the kill.
4 way Zerg We use the 4 way zerg tactic when there are enough (strong) people online to kill four dragons and are not over budget. Everyone will begin at the red dragon's landing spot, draining the red dragon till 10-15% HP if slow 20-30% if fast. From there on everyone will run towards the blue dragon and drain it till 10-15% HP or 20-30% as well depending on the speed. Then everyone will move to the green dragon, drain that as well and then run even further down to the black dragon to once again drain as well till all dragons are ready to kill. One to two people (per dragon) will be assigned to stay behind on red, blue and green to execute the kill.
Splitting We use the split tactic when there are enough (strong) players online to split or when we are over budget. We will be over budget when there are more than 20 players on one dragon, resulting into the dragon becoming immune to all damage.
When we split every team will be assigned a color, usually red or green. All teams will have to attempt to kill their dragons simultaneously or granting the other team a additional minute as mentioned in the last line of "The Fight - Time is ticking".
Split/zerg combo We use the split/zerg combo when there are enough (strong) players and supporters (tanks and healers) online and we are over budget.
All teams will be split as even as possible. One half of the teams will be sent to start at the green dragon, draining it till 10-15% HP left or 20-30% HP left depending on the speed, after which they zerg to the black dragon to drain it until it is ready to kill.
The other half of the teams will start at the red dragon, draining it till 10-15% HP left or 20-30% HP left depending on the speed as well and then zerg to the blue dragon to get it ready to kill.
Both teams will be leaving one to two assigned players (per dragon) behind to execute the kill on red and green.
All dragons must die extremely close to each other for this tactic to work, it is very important to follow the instructions in the guild chat to slow down, stop or kill. If one dies too soon, we could loose all other dragons.

| Important Facts & Tips - A dragon will become immune to all damage when there are more than 20 players fighting it. This is why it is very important players show up ahead of time, so we can apply the right tactic.
- Show up at least 15 minutes ahead so that the raid leader has a good view of what tactic we can apply and does not have to stress out trying to fit you in the raid in the last few minutes before the fight. Showing up too late can result into you being put in a reserve team that can be denied access to join depending on the tactic and amount of people who already showed up before you. Please just be on time!
- Join us on Teamspeak, even when you do not have a microphone this is very helpful. You will be able to hear our instructions faster and are able to react in time when needed.
- Keep your eyes on the guild chat to see if any instructions are being given, like "Slow down Red", "Stop Green", "Only at Wills", "Go blue", "Kill!" etc.
- Use your buff items, especially [Greater Scroll of Protection from Dragons] and [Greater Potion of Dragon Slaying] are very nice buff items. [Invocation Blessing], [food] buffs from the Marketplace and other [potions] are nice as well. If you own a [Lantern of Revelation] (no matter the level) be sure to slot it in your active slot, as the buff will increase everyone's damage greatly as well for a brief moment.
- You can track every dragons health on the right side of your screen under your mini map.
- When you die and none is near to revive you, just release so you can come back as fast as possible. This is especially important on the black dragon, the longer you lay on the floor, the longer the horrible ghosts will be around to kill your allies.

| Dragons & Locations
Red The red dragon is the easiest of all, it will do basic claw and tail swipes, plus fire bombs and breath aoe's on the floor.
Tactic Dodge aoe's and kill it.
Green The green dragon is the second easiest of all. It is surrounded by a poisonous cloud that will deal 4k damage every second to everyone in it, this cannot be avoided. It does basic claw and tail swipes, plus spitting poisonous slime and breath aoe's on the floor.
Tactic Dodge aoe's and kill it.
Blue The blue dragon is one of the two harder ones. It can apply a defense debuff and fires a lightning bolt (invisible aoe) to a random player, killing the player and chaining to anyone near it killing them as well. It also has basic claw and tail swipes, plus spitting lightning bombs and breath aoe's on the floor.
Tactic Engage dragon as a group, regroup on the edge if everyone dies.We need enough tanks and healers to stay alive on this dragon. Dodge aoe's and kill it.
Black The black dragon is the hardest one. It can apply a defense debuff and do a single target attack to a random player dealing insane amounts of damage that will one shot the player. Anyone who dies of any attack will summon a ghost that will chase still alive players for several seconds before it dissapears. The ghosts deal insane amounts of damage and most likely one shot all players near them as well, creating even more ghosts. It does basic claw and tail swipes, plus spitting acid and breath aoe's on the floor.
Tactic Engage dragon as a group, regroup on the edge if everyone dies. We need enough tanks and healers to stay alive on this dragon, preferably a lot of ranged classes as well that are spread out as to not summon ghosts on top each other. If a player dies, release instantly so the ghost you created will vanish faster. All players must lead ghosts away from everyone if one is chasing them.
