Our officer Dragor will hold his second guild event this coming weekend, starting tomorrow! He will be rebooting his famous The Great Grand Egghunt search foundry for you all to enjoy.
The event explained by Dragor
Many of you participated in my event The Great Grand Egghunt last time, and it seemed like a fun event which many appreciated. I´m happy to announce the relaunch of The Great Grand Egghunt, and that time has come to search out the glorious Hidden Eggs again.
Things have changed slightly in the Valley of Aleesh, and instead of the bright and sunny valley from last year, the sky is now filled with stars as night has taken the world. The invisible sparkling Hidden Eggs have been replaced with a visible purple Hidden Egg. There are now 35 eggs to be found across the map, instead of the old 20. You will have 10 minutes to find as many as you can, instead of the old 20 minutes.
I have made these changes, mostly to balance out for those that didn´t participate last time, as well as for players being able to use various mounts and buffs to go faster, to not have a too big advantage over slower players. Some eggs are out in the open, some more hidden, and some will need athletics to reach, but fear not, if I can do it on a dwarf tank, then you can do it on anything.
The most important things to have prepared when you go in, would be: keen and rested eyes, a fast mount, any and all speedbuffs you can find, and your settings tuned to see objects from afar.
There are no enemies in the egghunt, so feel free to raise your settings if you want, as you wont be attacked.
When is the event?
The event will last from Friday the 20th till Sunday the 22th, winners and prizes will be announced on Monday the 23th!
Prizes
Depending on how many people will score 1st, 2nd and 3rd place we will determining the prizes afterwards. If a lot of people score the in same ranks this would mean prizes will be a bit less expensive since we will need to split the rewards over several people. However, if we have only a few winners, prizes will become more valuable. Either way you can expect to have a chance on winning some companions, enchantments, refining stones, keys and more!
Rules
- If you are rank 2 or higher you can participate in the higher ranks only.
- If you are rank 1 you can participate in the lower ranks only.
- You may only participate once.
- Prizes cannot be discussed.
- You have 10 min to find as many eggs as you can.
- You must enter the foundry with Dragor himself, he will track your time and found eggs.
