| Hey all,
As you have seen in our latest guildmail we still need quite some currency before we can upgrade the Farm, Mine and Barracks and the stronghold itself afterward. Please see below tips & tricks for Surplus Equipment and Gems.
Surplus Equipment; the quickest way to fill the coffer with surplus equipment is to donate epic (purple) equipment to it for 810 points each, for thos who have VIP and/or buy keys, you will get Tarmalune Tradebars. With these Tradebars you can buy epic equipment you can donate to the coffer for only 5 tradebars a piece. Go to the tradebar store - equipment - (select a class, any class doesn't really matter) - legacy tab. There you will find a main and offhand for that specific class costing only 5 tradebars but that will still give the Guild Mimic 810 points for each item added.
In case you don't have these tradebars or are not willing to spend them, the other quick way is to run a couple of eToS dungeons, or any other T2 for that matter. Where (epic)DemoGorgon, CN and the other underdark / maze engine skirmishes don't guarantee you a purple drop, Temple o the SPider, Craigmire Crypts and Grey Wolf Den do give you at least 1 (in the coffer at the end) and if you're lucky you might get a random purple drop from one of the earlier bosses. Also this adds up for Protector Seals which you can of course use to buy t2 armor and donate that to the mimic as well. Mind that these tips of course only aply if you already have t2 armor yourself already ;-)
Gems; The quickest / cheapest way to get gems is with the level 23 Jewelcrafting profession task: Crates of Precious Jewelry, this task will result in 3 tiers of result ranging from 4 (t1) to 8 (t3) of these boxes that are worth 50 points each, you can only do 1 task simultanously per toon, but the task only takes 4 hours (with a purple Jewelcrafter) meaning you can do several a day to stack these boxes up to 99 at which point they give 4950 to the coffer. This is a lot more than 1 stack of rank 5 enchants (which give 990 to the coffer) and at the moment much cheaper to get as the prices for stacks of enchants has risen to 30+K Astral Diamonds. The requirements for crafting these boxes can be made with the level 21 Jewelcrafting task 'Gems and Leather strip crafting, or if you are short on workers / slots you can buy perfect gems and aberrant leather strips from the Auction House (mind that they are quite expensive on AH for something you can freely create yourself)
