This weekend we hold our very first Cards Against True DragonBlood guild event. A brand new event based onCards Against Humanity.
What is Cards Against Humanity?
Cards Against Humanity is a card game without a filter. It insults everything and everyone equally with rude jokes, sex jokes and more. It is definitely not a game for the lighthearted, but those who enjoy dark humor will most likely find great laughter in this game.
How is it played?
The game can be played by 3 or more players in your web browser. Every player will get a turn to be the Card Czar, which means they are judging the cards being played by the other players.
The Card Czar will read the black card out loud (unless you do not use Teamspeak) that holds a sentence, question, phrase or statement with one to three blank options. For example: _ Went to _ to become a _. The other players have to use their white cards to fill in the blanks. It is their choice to make the best, most accurate, or funniest combinations. After everyone has submitted their white cards the Card Czar can read all answers, without knowing which answer came from who. The Card Czar then has to choose the answer he or she likes best, that winner will receive one awesome point.
The player who receives x amount of awesome points first wins the round.
When is the event
The Cards Against TDB will take place this Friday the 13th, after Tiamat (around 20:30 UTC).
How to join the event
1. Sign up for the event on the events tab noting your @handle in the comments.
2. Show up on time for the event on the 13th of May after Tiamat (20:30 UTC).
3. Follow Elva's instructions to join the Cards Against TDB room on the pretend you're xyzzy website.
4. Make sure to use your @handle as username in the game for recognition.
5. Play the game :)
How does the event work
Once everyone has gathered in the cards game room we will start and play the game. We will play 3 rounds, the amount of points needed to win a round depends on how many members show up. However, everyone's points count no matter if you win a round. At the end of all 3 rounds everyone's points will be added up. The top 3 from rank 1 and rank 2+ with the most points will win prizes. The 3 members that won a round will also get 1 smaller prize.

Event rules
- You may only participate on one account.
- You have to sign up for the event.
- You have to use your @handle as username in the game.
- You have to show up on time, if you are too late you can no longer join the event.
- If you cheat with one or more of your friends you will be disqualified and kicked from the guild.
- Prizes cannot be discussed.
