Vertigo is our newest parcour event in which you can participate this weekend. Two evil and very bored Thayans will invite you to test their newest creations.
How does it work?
There are two parcours, one easy and one difficult. You can practice both as often as you like from the Catalog. If you only wish to practice for the difficult parcour you can find a orb hidden in a illusionairy rock to the right, interacting with it will clear a path straight to the 2nd parcour.
How to play test the parcours
Press L and click on Catalog, then select NEW and search for Vertigo. You will find the quest named Vertigo - Parcour. Accept it and take the nearest gate to play test the parcour(s).
How to participate
To actually participate for prizes you must contact Elva during the event, she will then take you to the parcour(s) you desire to participate in. You will be given the opportunity to finish the parcour(s) as fast as you can, a timer will be set. The participants with the fastest finishing time win a prize.
Prizes
Easy parcour
1st place - One [Renegade Evoker] or [Armored Orc Wolf] or [Battlefield Medic's Ensemble] or [Lesser Dragon's Hoard Enchantment].
2nd place - One companion or Enchantment (choices are: [Dappled Riding Horse] [Ice Sprite] [Fawn of Shiallia] [Fire Archon] [Traveling Entertainer] [Moonshae Druid] [Radiant Enchantment, Rank 7] [Azure Enchantment, Rank 7] [Dark Enchantment, Rank 7] [Lesser Tenebrous Enchantment] [Silvery Enchantment, Rank 7]).
3rd place - one [Greater Power Stone].
Hard parcour
1st place - [Lesser Bilethorn Enchantment] or [Lesser Soulforged Enchantment] or [Professions Booster Pack] or [Adorable Pocket Pet] or any of the enchantments from 2nd place.
2nd place - One enchantment or [Superior Mark of Potency] or [Skeletal Dog] (choices are: [Lesser Barkshield Enchantment] [Plague Fire Enchantment] [Dark Enchantment, Rank 8])
3rd place - One [Plague Fire Enchantment].
Rules
You may only participate once in each difficulty.
You may participate in both difficulties.
You have to be guild rank 2 or higher to participate in the difficult parcour for prizes.
You cannot use encounter powers to advance ahead.
In the difficult parcour you have to follow/make all checkpoints.
